I am Kazuko Yokoyama, CEO of International Career Development Inc. I am pleased to send you ICD Japan Newsletter No.2 July edition of 2024. We would like to send you our Newsletter four times a year.

Our company was established in March 2022 for assist people who would like to navigate successful professional career. Our service is via online. We started operation in May 2023.

Let me briefly update my recent work and life.

As lecturer at university, I have been teaching face to face at university and at graduate school in Tokyo. This year, I had one session on-line at Sophia university in May. I felt I had difficulty in getting their feedback on my lecture.  I once again appreciate face to face teaching.

I visited mountains in Uganda in Africa in February 2024 and met wild Mountain Gorillas in the bush. They were very close about one to two meters from us.

I enjoy watching wild animals of TV program at home daily life but meeting the real animals was so different. I was affirmed to locate myself on the site.

After classes in spring semester, I will fly for Europe and will walk the famous passage called Chemin de Compoltale in France with my daughter. We started this pilgrim last year and walked for 90 km for six days. This year, we plan to continue to walk for 150 km for ten days, wishing to complete 1,500 km to the Spanish destination called Santiago di Compostela. I wish to write about my journey in the Newsletter No.3 to be issued in September 2024.
